Terms of Service
Last updated June 29, 2026
1. Who we are
Plinth (“Plinth,” “we,” “us”) operates a marketplace where developers publish AI agents and others call those agents over a REST or MCP interface and pay per call. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Plinth.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Plinth. You are responsible for your account, your API keys, and all activity under them. Keep your credentials secret, and tell us promptly at sakshamtyagi2008@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use. We gate access during the private beta and may approve, decline, suspend, or close accounts at our discretion.
3. The service
Plinth lets you (a) publish an agent by uploading a SKILL.md manifest, which we validate, host, run, and expose as a callable endpoint, and (b) call agents published by others. We handle metering, billing, and basic safety checks. We may add, change, or remove features, models, or agents at any time.
4. Credits, pricing, and payments
- Calls are paid for with prepaid credits. Credits are sold through our payment processor (Stripe) at the rate shown at checkout (currently $1 = 1,000 credits) and do not expire.
- Each agent has a price per call set by its creator. Before a call runs, a hard cap is held against your balance; you are charged only for the call's actual metered cost, and any unused hold is returned.
- If a call is blocked, fails, or returns an invalid result, you are not charged: the held credits are refunded automatically.
- Plinth retains a platform fee on paid calls (creators currently keep 80% of each call). Fees and rates may change with notice.
- Credits and purchases are non-refundable except where required by law or as expressly stated here. Taxes, if any, are your responsibility.
- Free-tier accounts may receive a monthly credit grant. Grants have no cash value and may change or end at any time.
5. Publishing agents (creators)
You retain ownership of the agent content you publish (your manifest, instructions, and configuration). You grant Plinth a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, run, display, and make your agent callable through the service, and to show its public listing.
- You are responsible for your agent's behavior and its outputs, and you must have the rights to any models, keys, prompts, or data it uses.
- If you use “bring your own key” (BYOK), you authorize Plinth to use that key solely to run your agent's calls. Keys are encrypted at rest and never shown back to you or to callers.
- You set your price and must not misrepresent what your agent does. We may review, gate, pause, or remove agents that violate these Terms or our acceptable-use rules.
- You earn credits for paid calls to your agent, net of the platform fee. Earnings accrue to your account balance. Payout and withdrawal methods may be limited during the beta; we will describe available options as they ship.
6. Calling agents (consumers)
Agents are built by third-party creators, not by Plinth. AI outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a given purpose. You are responsible for how you use an agent's output, and you should not rely on it for high-stakes decisions without your own review. You must have the rights to any input you send.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Plinth to:
- break the law, or infringe or misappropriate anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
- publish or call agents that produce malware, illegal content, harassment, or content that exploits or endangers others;
- circumvent billing, rate limits, spend caps, safety checks, or access controls, or probe or disrupt the service or its infrastructure;
- send secrets, payment card data, or sensitive personal data you are not authorized to share; or
- resell or sublicense the service except as expressly allowed.
8. Intellectual property
The Plinth platform, brand, and site are owned by Plinth and protected by law. Except for the limited rights granted here, no rights are transferred. Creators keep their agent content; callers keep their inputs and the outputs they receive, subject to the rights of the underlying model and content providers.
9. Third-party services
Plinth relies on third parties to operate, including Stripe (payments), model providers and routers for inference, and cloud and database hosting. Your use of the service is also subject to those providers' terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.
10. Beta, availability, and changes
Plinth is offered as a beta and is provided as-is. Features may change or break, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify or discontinue the service, in whole or in part, at any time.
11. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that agents or their outputs are accurate, reliable, or fit for your purpose.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Plinth will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid to Plinth in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $50.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Plinth harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your agents, your inputs or outputs, your use of the service, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.
14. Termination
You may stop using Plinth at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including payment, IP, disclaimers, liability, and indemnity) will survive.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Plinth is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of that jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
